WELift

Welift is a Salt Lake City–based startup bringing the gig economy and new technology to the traditional moving industry. As Lead UI/UX Designer, I built the company’s visual identity and digital design system, ensuring consistency across mobile, web, and marketing platforms. I designed responsive interfaces, high-fidelity prototypes, and campaign assets that reflected Welift’s forward-thinking approach. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and developers, I translated strategy into cohesive, user-centered design that elevated the brand and supported its mission to modernize how people move.

LEARNINGS

Trust your process

  • Working alongside other early-career professionals taught me to trust my instincts and design process, even when navigating ambiguity. I learned that confidence grows not from having all the answers, but from iterating, listening, and staying open to discovery.

Be proactive about growth

  • Design doesn’t happen in a vacuum — especially when working independently. I realized the importance of actively seeking out feedback and critique to keep learning, refining my craft, and pushing my work forward.
